John Gladue

John Gladue busies himself with a computer game to pass the time as he waits in the Association office for his ride at the end of the day. John says that he loves the action in the games, but makes it clear that this is not his passion. John is much more interested in sports and his leisure time is largely taken up on the soccer field, floor hockey gym or the bowling alley. He recently participated in the Alberta Winter Games and returned home with a gold medal.

Another athletic pursuit of John’s is Tae Kwon Do. He is passionate about the sport and works at stepping up every year to a different colour belt. This year John is working on his green belt.

John attended Crystal Park School when he was young, and moved on to the Special Education classes at the Composite High School. John currently works at Superstore, cleaning shelves and separating cardboard. He is a resident at the 114 Ave group home and he says he is happy there.
